“I believe great stories come from building great relationships in the community. My first priority is to listen and then tell the story with fairness and respect”

I am an experienced anchor/reporter in both broadcast and web journalism. Prior to re-joining NY1 News, I helped launch FiOs1 News in 2009 as their day-side breaking news reporter and fill-in anchor; reporter with NY1 News; reporter/producer/host with Transit Transit News; and reporter/host with YO New York a video-streaming website all located in the New York City Metro-Area.

As a Delaware native, I moved to New York to work as a stage actress after graduating from the University of Delaware with a degree in Theater Production. I went on to receive my Master’s degree in Media Arts with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism from Long Island University after discovering my love of reporting. My outstanding work has been recognized with an Emmy Nomination and Telly Award.

One of my biggest passions is volunteering to work with abused children. I also love animals and going to sporting events. I look forward to continuing my journalism career and the next big adventure.
