My passion for integrating foreign policy with economics began the year before I began school at the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I went on a gap year program called Kivunim, which is a program is based in Israel and teaches participants primarily through experiential educational experiences. A core component of the curriculum was learning about the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. I traveled through zones of the West Bank that are under the jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority and learned that the established economy is largely what differentiates the West Bank from Gaza. I decided at that point it was imperative that I further my educaiton in both Finance and Middle Eastern Studies. I am continuously looking for more opportunities to learn and expereince more in this range of topics.
