Tamara Güclü

Stuttgart, Germany

My name is Tamara Güclü, I'm 25 years old german journalist. I grew up near Stuttgart in South-Germany and studied Journalism for three years at the Catholic University Eichstätt - Ingolstadt in Bavaria/ Germany. For my fifth semester I went abroad to study in Murcia/ Spain at the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM) to improve my Spanish and to get an impression of how journalism is taught in Spain.

I finished my Bachelor Degree (Bachelor of Arts) in July 2013 and moved to Berlin to start studying Turcology and Turkish language at the Freie Universität Berlin in October. After two semesters of this master degree, I ended my university career for good. Since the first of July 2014 I am part of the editorial traineeship programm at the Axel Springer Academy in Berlin (Team 16). My main editorial office is now the german music magazine Musikexpress.

I love traveling, speaking different languages and getting to know people from all over the world. All that sums up what I love to do also profesionally as a journalist. My favorite topics are music (Rap/Electronic/Indie), fashion (especially sneakers), traveling, food, art (contemporary) and design.
