Tamara Donohoe

Duvall, Washington, United States

I tend to step up in any group seting as an emergent leader. I truly enjoy being a leader and see myself excelling as a leader in any future job.

I graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. I will have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a minor in Queer Studies.

I was a teaching assistant at WWU in the Communcation Department for three (3) quarters, mainly assisting students with Professional Communication. This included writing appropriate emails, working on their resumes, going through mock interviews, and communicating in a professional manner.

May 2013 I was accepted into WWU's annual Scholar's Week. I presented a paper in a twenty minute presentation as well as a poster session. The paper was entitled "Queer People of Color in the Workplace" which discussed a silenced subculture within the workplace.
