Tamara M. Furth

Hi! My name is Tamara and I currently live in San Diego, CA. I am a small town girl from Eastern WA., and sometimes feel very out of place in California! I tend to be extremely independent and keep to myself. I am always up for adventure and am always eager to explore my new surroundings. I love to share what I find so others can enjoy as well. My story is full of adventure and drama, mostly from the viewpoint of the struggling teenage parent striving to live life, but barely surviving. In my 38 years of life I have made many mistakes but managed to make some good choices in there some where! I have managed to work full-time, put myself through college, develope a career in Education, and opened and closed a coffee shop...all while raising my daughter. I can't even remember how many times I have moved, but I am sure my daughter would be happy to tell you! I have dreams to travel and see the world, hopefully to do mission work someday! I have experienced great love and tragic loss. I have been homeless and have owned an amazing house! I personally know the meaning of a true friend and have experienced the detriment of finding out that I spent the majority of my life surrounded with primarily the opposite. I tend to search for the positive in every circumstance and feel without a doubt that everything happens for a greater purpose. I love Jesus with all my heart, but I have spent my entire life rebelling against the one thing that is true and faithful...Jesus Christ! I pray daily that God will continue to grow in my life and use my past experiences to carry out his will...and that I may hear, see, and do all that He would bless me with!

I have a passion to educate, which is what I currently do all week long. I am a Special Education Coordinator and I work with struggling youth with emotional disturbance and mental illness. In addition to working and going full-time to school working on my Master's, I love to have fun! I play the guitar and enjoy singing when I don't think people are listening! I own a little blue convertible bug which you can usually find me driving down the SoCal Coast...typically looking for the next great coffee shop, or frequenting my favorites!

I have a passion to explore and find new fun things to do and great places to go. I have very simple characteristics, but I know what I like!
