Finley Peter Dunne once said, "Comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable." This quote reassured me that I was on the right path in my academic and future career path. I am an undergraduate Journalism student, Campus Correspondent, and Editor-in-Chief for the Athenian Print at Mount Saint Mary's University.

I want to make an impact on those who are privileged and those who are oppressed, forgotten, and silenced through the power of spoken, written, and visual voice.

Until then, I will continue to learn and to exercise my skills and talents. (Yes, shower singing counts as a talent.)
