I’ve spent close to 20 years working in insurance claims, and my path into the industry wasn’t exactly linear. I actually started my career as a litigation attorney after earning my degree from UCLA and my law degree from Whittier Law School. That legal background gave me a strong foundation in problem-solving, which has carried through everything I’ve done since.

Over time, I transitioned into insurance and moved into leadership roles at companies like AIG and Ironshore, where I managed complex claims across environmental, professional, and casualty lines. In 2016, I shifted into cyber insurance at NAS Insurance Services. That’s really where my career took a defining turn.

When NAS was acquired by Tokio Marine HCC, I stayed on and eventually led the Cyber & Tech Claims department as Vice President. I spent years building and growing that team, handling everything from data breaches to cyber extortion cases.

What’s always driven me is solving real problems and helping people navigate difficult situations. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, hiking, traveling, and just taking time to reset and stay balanced.
