Tamara Jolee, a native of Dallas, Texas (Duncanville/Midlothian), is a multi-award winning news and sports journalist, cancer survivor, I Am Second Christian motivational speaker and Africa orphan humanitarian. She has covered television stories across the world, on multiple platforms, encompassing everything from presidential elections, professional sports, natural disasters, murder investigations and other major crime stories. Tamara has worked for ABC, FOX, NBC and Time Warner Sports affiliates, interviewing the world’s most renowned political figures, professional athletes, Hollywood stars and notable community leaders.

A crafted storyteller, Jolee's all-time favorite assignments involve stories with everyday people who overcome tremendous odds.

Jolee’s twice been awarded by the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters Association for excellence in reporting news and sports, including “Top Continuing Coverage” for a baby murder that made international headlines. The male defendant in the case was sentenced to die by lethal injection, becoming the youngest inmate on Texas death row at the time. Jolee also picked up Texas AP Broadcasters honors after spending one football season reporting on unique, hidden Friday Night Lights stories in small-town Texas. Those features (shot by chief videographer, Albert Belez) were later showcased in the Texas Sports Hall of Famein Waco, Texas.

Tamara is currently based out of Dallas, Texas, the fifth largest television market in the nation. She is a Big 12 college football and NBA sideline sports reporter plus serves as a stringer and contract analyst for other major sporting events. Furthermore, she covers the NBA's Dallas Mavericks on D210Tv, a sports and entertainment show that airs each week on Time Warner Sports Channel across Texas.

Tamara's career allowed her to live in eight states and travel to over 20 countries, including unique destinations like Africa, Cuba, Ireland and Switzerland.

The Midlothian High School (Texas) graduate is not only a respected journalist, but a devoted global humanitarian providing outreach to orphans and widows in Malawi and Sierra Leone, Africa. She spent three months in Malawi, Africa, one of the world's poorest countries with millions of orphans who have little or no access to clean water, food or electricity. The trip sparked a deep passion in Jolee's heart to promote change in Africa, and she now now serves on several boards advocating for health and education in Malawi.
