Tamara N. Mitchell
author, Coach, and manager in Raleigh, North Carolina
I'm an author, coach, and Business Operations Manager at Cisco, where I support global Sales Enablement teams and stakeholders on Cisco's premier seller platform — the digital backbone that keeps a global sales organization moving.
My first book, Can Any Good Thing Come from the Ghetto?, asks a question I've spent my life answering — through a career that's spanned local government, pharmaceutical, and now tech (curiosity has a way of moving you around), and through the work of raising three children who are now college graduates, one with a master's and another on the way.
Along the way, I've stayed an advocate for homeless veterans, because I believe the people who served us shouldn't be the ones left without a place to land.
I'm now moving into coaching, helping others find the language for their own story and the strategy to move it forward.
Faith is the thread running through all of it — my quiet conviction that good things do come from unlikely places.
