Tamar Snyder

Tamar serves as the Director of Brand Marketing & Communications at Jewish Communal Fund, the largest and most active Jewish donor advised fund in the country, managing $1.4 billion in charitable assets for 3,200 funds. An award-winning journalist, Tamar worked for several years as a staff writer at The Jewish Week in New York. She graduated summa cum laude from Touro College and holds a master's degree in journalism from Columbia Journalism School, an MPA from NYU/Wagner and an MA in Hebrew and Judaic Studies from NYU. She created a financial literacy curriculum for Jewish teen girls and presented the program to nearly 500 teens as part of Jewish Women International’s Life$avings project, and has taught Personal Finance at the high school level. She is a Certified Educator in Personal Finance (CEPF).
