I chase down tips, interview scores of people; politicians, business owners, artists, the homeless and dreamers and engage with readers and sources through social media.

My extensive coverage of Tallahassee's homeless crisis has received several awards and accolades, including being named a finalist in 2011 for the James Batten Award for Public Service by the Society of Professional Journalists' South Florida Pro Chapter.

My hours are long and unpredictable. But I'm dedicated to understanding issues and sharing stories of real people in our community.
