Tam Bruce

Retired. Working life split as molecular biologist and Pro tennis coach. Wasted my time academically at school. In a despairing effort to get a Higher qualification in Science my parents prevailed on the school's headmaster to let me do an extra year and so it was that with 32 free periods out of 40 per week the 19 year old Tam singularly failed to attain that qualification. Grasping at straws in mitigation it was the Summer of Love, man!

Still ended up with a career in Science! Strange how things can turn out.

My philosophy is to live in the "now" to learn something new every day and to make a difference. Hence this blog.
