Tamera Pillay

I am young and a new addition to the literary scene so my main writing highlights come from my schooling growing up. Nothing really made sense until I began thinking of what my dream job would truly be. In a world of limitless possibilities, I would have an outstanding sense of humor and be comedian or humorous filmmaker of some sort, instead of being an engineer. I figured that out, because I just had an unsettling epiphany. What I realized most is that in order for my attention to be kept, I must make writing interesting. That’s one of my most valued concepts in writing. I’d rather it not make sense and be completely zany and frothy than stiff. Unfortunately I have not written to these standards in a while. I have had to conform to bland essay topics, attempting to turn them into riveting. I truly admire people who are gifted with those skills. I may even be half decent at it, but in my own writings I suppose I am just in love with the world of nonsensical fiction.
