Stories are the essence of communication. They connect us to one another in a way that straight facts and figures simply can't. They help us relate.

I've been telling stories since before I could write, and writing stories since kindergarten. And I've been telling them online since before the Internet was really a thing. I had to dial in to a local BBS to talk to people -- but what great connections we made. I've been online ever since.

Storytelling and an innate love and understanding of the online world have made it so that I'm great at helping others -- individuals and organizations -- navigate the world of social media. Throw in a slew of communications, media, and marketing classes, along with seminars and trainings that I've led on the subject, and you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who can do it better.

My passion for helping folks understand the online world has led to me being tapped to write the white paper to show the Department of the Interior how they could implement social media, to my helping several non-profit groups set up their online presences, and to commercial work (not to mention a recent mention in a Huffington Post article).
