Tammy Hammack

Tammy Hammack-Barber received her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University and
a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of West Florida. She is an Employment
Law attorney at Cohen Grossman and litigates misclassification, overtime, and
minimum wage cases. A large part of her practice involves representing servers
bartenders, and other members of the service industry who were not paid fairly by their
employers for their work.
While in law school Tammy participated in multiple internships, including working for
the Innocence Project in Tallahassee, Florida. After graduation, she gained litigation
experience while working as an Assistant Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit.
Tammy handled over a thousand cases at the misdemeanor and felony level.
She is admitted to the Federal Middle District of Florida, and the Florida Bar.
