Employed as vice president of client services at Hixme in Los Angeles, California, Tammy Olson helps employers secure employee benefit goals. In this position since February 2015, she utilizes technology to reduce employer administration costs while also increasing employee satisfaction. With more than two decades of experience working in the employee benefits division, Tammy Olson has led workshops on determining if private exchanges are best for her clients.

Prior to joining Hixme, Tammy Olson spent several years as principal and west market exchange sales leader at Mercer, also in the Los Angeles area. She created multiyear strategic plans for the firm’s clients, many of which included Fortune 1,000 corporate employers. In addition, she consulted on a variety of strategic planning and analysis relating to the Affordable Care Act.

After starting her professional career at Mercer in 1997, Tammy Olson left briefly and spent two years as an account executive at Anthem/Blue Cross of California, where she managed large national accounts. She rejoined the firm in May 2008 and spent more than 10 years at Mercer and as vice president of Marsh & McLennan, which later became a part of the Mercer brand.
