As a mother, teacher, assistant professor of reading education and teacher preparation, I'm committed in preparing highly-qualified teachers of reading to make differences in the literacy experiences of K-12 students.
I teach at Jacksonville University, Jacksonville, Florida. My research investigates vocabulary development, uses of digital technologies, and preparation of highly-effective teachers of reading who make immediate differences in reading outcomes.
