A friend and I have strong crafting talents and we are collaborating to show and support our work along with a cousin of mine in prison who also is very talented and would like to collaborate. I think the combination of all of our art will be an interested thing to witness and I am thrilled to begin.

I have always loved art and began with drawing and crocheting. Over a long amount of time, I've put together a list of talents involving crochet, knitting, drawing, jewelry making and bobbin lace making. Over the past years of stress and struggle, art has come in handy as a comfortable stress reliever.

Deidra is always surprising me with the amount of creative work she can do and does often. So far I've seen her work with drawing, writing, watercolors, oils, charcoal, party decorations, scrapbooking, and dollhouse decorating. I'm sure there are many more talents of hers I just haven't seen yet.

My cousin, Rachel, is similarly talented in drawing and crocheting. We learned to crochet from our grandmother, Memorie "Bunny" Peterson, whom we love dearly. Rachel started crocheting in prison. She is not a violent offender. She has her own story and I'll let her tell it if she wants to.
