The NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning was set up in 1992, and play their home games at Amalie Arena in midtown Tampa. They would later win their third Stanley Cup the next year in 2021 subsequent to overcoming the Montreal Canadiens in 5 games. Tampa facilitated the abilities challenges and 2018 NHL All-Star Game weekend on January 27–28, 2018.
