We aspire to be the voice for our fellow classmates. It is our belief that a strong student government should effectively and efficiently be an essential part of the student body. We'd like to be a strong support structure that the student body can trust. An entity to get their voice, ideas and concerns heard. After talking to several of our fellow classmates, they were unaware that there was even such a thing available to them. The issue of communication is something we will make a distinct point to address. We would like to break the barriers of communication and feel that easier and more accessible avenues of communication could be achieved in several ways. Our first plan of action would be to look into regular monthly forums on campus, use of social network sites such as FaceBook and a SGA page on our university website to assist in smoother communication; something that is vital to success.

Foremost, we are willing and ready to devote our time and effort to the student body. We are also determined to help bridge the gap between students, administrators and staff.

Contribution and participation in our community is paramount and will further highlight that we are a respectable and involved institution. This will be an attractive point for potential students and investors. If elected to represent our university, we plan to initiate more community activities and charity work. We are ready to help make this university a more appealing place to want to attend; by helping our ambassadors recruit potential students. We would also like the SGA to represent our university in a positive and influencing light.

Also we would like to have more on-campus activities to make the student body aware of not only their SGA, but of other organizations currently on campus. One of our goals is to get more students involved. We understand that that the majority of the students attending the university are commuters, whom are older with families and careers; so we want to find an easier way of making ourselves and other resources more readily available to them.

A strong bond between all members of SGA is imperative to success of the organizations combined goals and purpose. With our combination of determination, commitment, and compassion, we would make an invaluable asset as President and Vice President to the Student Government Association.
