Tanga Rosine is a Tech enthusiast, the CEO and founder of Girls Tech Universe- an organization that aims to educate, encourage and empower girls in secondary schools in Africa, to study computer science and train them with tech skills, connecting them to opportunities.She is also a Computer Science teacher under the Ministry Of Secondary Education (for 2 years now)and is currently pursuing a BSc in Computer Science at the University of Buea.
Her ever growing passion to pursue Software Engineering , and empowering girls in her community by being an example, pushes her to work with organizations that promote the rights of a girl child. She is a 2 time winner of the Microsoft Office Specialist Championship Exam- selected to represent Cameroon at the international Competition in the United States of America(participated during the 2021 session, virtually, because of the COVID-19 pandemic) and also selected as the best student at the CYEED(Center for Youth Empowerment and Economic Development) boot camp in Visual illustrations, in the year 2018.She is also the first female Cameroonian to participate in the Adobe International Championship Certification and is now a Certified Adobe Champion.As a lover of fashion and Beauty Pageants as well, she aims to use her platform for Women’s Empowerment.
Today, she is the Tech head at an organization LIHOA (Lights of Hope Africa), an organization that seeks to educate children about their rights and also the empowerment of the girl child. They host sessions involving girls talk, girl’s empowerment and tech empowerment in secondary schools in the city of Molyko.
