Tania Akbarali

Born and raised in a first world nation, I grew up in two metropolitan cities from Chicago to Toronto and it was quite an adventure, at least I thought it was, until I landed on the soil of the Mother Land. The Windy City was my birthplace, but T.dot has and will always be my home. Having graduated from the University of Toronto, I practically lived on the TTC. Having seen Toronto explode into a multicultural haven of cool districts, amazing food, and so much culture, I was convinced that it was the coolest growing city in the world. After marriage, my husband, Ali and I decided to shift gears and take a leap of faith by moving to an even faster growing city in a third world nation, and boy has it been quite the roller coaster ride!
