Tania Macias Garcia

My name is Tania Macias and I am a native speaker of Spanish from Spain. I am also fluent in the English language having spent more than ten years studying and working in England, which allowed me to develop a thorough understanding of the English culture. I would like to take this opportunity to offer my services as a full-time English-Spanish translator.

I have developed a great enthusiasm for translating in the last few years. I have recently formed part of a team for translation projects related to IT software. I have 8 years experience translating documents and reports as part of my job as an Executive Assistant.

Over the years, I have worked and studied in a number of fields and I have developed specialised knowledge of their particular terminology and peculiarities: Education, IT, Multimedia, Marketing, Economics and Nutrition. I feel that my work experience and personal background have offered me the kind of experiences and challenges that enhance my career as a translator. I am also a qualified English teacher and I have a Multimedia Computing degree and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
