Tania Masia is a psychotherapist in private practice. She works with people who are dealing with various symptoms including depression, phobias, anxiety and behavioral problems. She uses controlled sessions in which verbal interaction takes place to explore behavior, attitudes and emotions in order to guide them to understand and address their inner conflicts.

Tania also works with children and youth through the Manadoob Program for Self-Esteem, Self-Awareness&Social-Emotional Development for kids, where she instructs groups of children using role-play, undirected play with art materials and toys and alternative ways to self-exploration.

Tania presents various psychological topics on a TV programme at RIK while she publishes articles at Life Magazine.

She is a member of YOUNG VOLUNTEERS board and she also instructs groups of Young Volunteers in Schools, introducing volunteerism through various activities such as arts&crafts,bonding exercises, participating in events etc.

She graduated from Aristotle University Thessaloniki as a psychologist and then she gained her masters in Psychotherapy at University of Kent. She was trained in group psychotherapy for 3 years while she was undertaking personal therapy and supervision.

She was co-instructing a group as a part of her training at KEPAPSY while she has worked in Mesogeios, Veresie’s Clinic with groups with depression and drug or alcohol addictions, in St. Martins Hospital (mental health department) at NHS with people suffering from schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression, as a counselling psychologist at Frederick University and as a psychologist at AHEPA (University General Hospital Thessaloniki) following up patients with various neurological diseases.

Today, Tania Masia continues to training, joining educational seminars and experiential activities.More specifically, she follows education in Systemic Psychotherapy.
