Tania Mejia is a press officer t at the U.S. Department of Labor. Prior to joining the Department of Labor, Tania worked as a strategic researcher for the Iron Workers Union AFL-CIO in Dallas, Texas, where she researched key players in the construction industry and industry labor practices. Tania also worked as a membership and development coordinator for Workers Defense Project, a labor advocacy organization based in Austin, Texas.
Tania has a Bachelor’s degree in Government from the University of Texas in Austin and Master of Public Administration at American University.
