Tania Wong

Besides directing the pioneer dance school (Dance ConneXion, formerly Enamorarse Dance) & winning numerous professional salsa championships, Tania partners with Vice World Salsa Champion, Oscar Naranjo, to direct & choreograph for Latin Groove Productions, providing quality entertainment featuring dancers from kids to adults. Their recent performance credits include opening the concerts & performing alongside world famous bands including Aventura, Eddie Santiago, Oscar D'Leon, El Gran Combo, Guayacan, Frankie Negron, DLG, Marcy Place, Maelo Ruiz, Charanga Harbanera & Carlos Cruz. They have also been invited to teach, choreograph, judge & perform at salsa congresses, weddings, parties & events in Latin America, United States & Canada. (Full bio)

Tania is an Honours Computer Science graduate from University of Waterloo and worked at companies including Sybase, IBM, and Procter & Gamble in areas of Consulting, Project Management & Sales. She had frequent appearances on WowTV, Rogers TV, Telelatino, national newspapers, as well as being a Master of Ceremony for shows, weddings & events.
