Support my charity

A native of Indiana, Tanise moved to Charlotte, North Carolina shortly after graduating from Indiana University with her Bachelors in Public Health. She completed her Masters of Health Administration program at Pfeiffer University in 2012.

After a year as a full-time graduate student and focusing on her studies, she was given an opportunity at Crisis Assistance Ministry in their first ever role of Volunteer Coordinator. Tanise's soft personality and strong program development skills allowed her to rapidly grow the organization's program to it's largest volume in history, saving the agency over $1.2 million. She quickly transitioned into management and grew the agency's 3rd party relationships and event management for the agency. Tanise was promoted to Director level before leaving to pursue opportunities in healthcare.

After a successful year in the health insurance sector, Tanise realized her passion is truly in the community relations and non profit development space.

She is now the newest staff member at Donate Life North Carolina, a collaborative group of organizations that promote eye, organ and tissue donation across the state. She accepted the role of Minority and Faith Based Outreach Program Manager at the beginning of March. She's tasked with creating and maintaining a statewide initiative donations across faith and minority communities. She has the opportunity to work with donors, volunteers, universities, churches, sororities/fraternities and more. Although she works remotely, she travels all over North Carolina to work with variety of wonderful people.

Tanise is a newlywed and has a lifestyle blog called Love Homegrown. She loves traveling, cooking, swimming, and playing tennis when her schedule allows.
