Hi! I'm Taniya - Web & Mobile Eng Leader with 12 years of exp running teams of 4 to an org of 40.

I care about using tech to create products with purpose, and sometimes write about human tendencies and thought processes.

My first introduction to science & engineering was being tasked with building a radio in elementary school. I was hooked - building something tangible that could create a positive impact on a user’s daily life was invigorating. With the rise of AI and increased applications for robotics, we have the opportunity to shape our inevitably efficient future more responsibly.

I wrote a children’s book titled Roy the Robot - Roy represents the positive potential of AI, trained to be empathetic and supportive to humankind. I hope to encourage children to embrace the positive potential of technology in our future as it adapts ever more quickly.
