Tanner is a licensed clinical therapist with over ten years in the mental health field. She graduated with her masters from the University of Kansas. Previous to founding Radically Open Kansas City, she worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs and on a standard DBT team, where she spearheaded a RO-DBT program. Tanner specializes in disorders of overcontrol and post-traumatic stress, and she’s attended training from the creator of RO-DBT, Thomas Lynch. She’s honored to be a part of her clients’ personal growth, and committed to being not just knowledgeable but also humorous and sincere. In her free time, Tanner likes searching for antiques, traveling to national parks, and spending time with friends and her two cats, Roland and Dolores.
