Why work with me?

I could say, because I am a Talent Acquisition Specialist (we’ve gone from headhunter to Recruiter, and now Talent Acquisition, what next, Staffing Engineer?) with over 20 years of recruitment experience, OR, that I have developed and implemented creative strategies that identify and attract a diverse candidate pool, OR, that I pride myself on having long standing relationships with both my clients and my candidates, OR, that I successfully use cost-effective practices and sourcing solutions for recruitment.

YES, THIS IS ALL TRUE, and these are reasons given by most recruiters you will meet. However, what I am boasting is a true understanding of Human Nature (I was a counselor for many years before working in this industry), that, to me, is what makes me an excellent recruiter, and of course a sense of humor.

Because of this;

I try to answer every email so that candidates do not feel like the resume is going into a black hole.

I will let my clients know whether I can help them or not – I will not “shotgun resumes”, my candidates will always know where their resume is going.

I speak to all my candidates and meet most (some live in other states and do not have access to Skype).

I will always try to find positions that fit my candidates, not try to fit my candidates into my positions, that usually makes everyone happy in the long run and I am in it for the long run.

I have often recommended to clients’ different methods of recruiting other then using recruitment agencies, I have enough faith in my abilities to understand that by saving my clients money now, they will eventually see the value in using my expertise for future positions that will require agency use.

Most importantly, I will never write or speak in the third person (there’s that humor again).
