"If everything is under control, you are going too slow."- Mario Andretti
I am a published writer and editor based in Toronto, who has completed her doctorate in English Literature but has kept her sense of humour suprisingly intact. I have dedicated myself to exploring a growing interest in digital media, strategic communications and event organization. In recent years, I organized a nationally livestreamed event, "ReImagine CBC," which brought together media veterans, commentators, and citizens in Toronto for a night of panel discussions and live entertainment. I also edited and promoted an issue of Descant Literary Magazine entitled "Bosnia and Herzegovina, Between Loss and Recovery," and hosted several interdisciplinary conferences. I'm currently working as a Communications Coordinator for the Ontario government and discovering a growing affinity for work in the public sector. My various experiences prove beyond a reasonable doubt that I combine my love of the written word with a lust for public speaking, creative event planning, and project management.
