I am the First Secretary and Consul of the Embassy Jamaica in Mexico. I joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica in 2009 after working for several years in the private sector in the fields of investment and advertising. In my current capacity, I monitor, analyze and report on political, economic and trade developments for Mexico and the countries of Central America to which the Embassy is accredited. I also manage and perform cultural and public diplomacy as well consular services for the Embassy.
I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in International Relations from the University of the West Indies at Mona, Jamaica and a Masters of Arts in International Commerce and Policy from the George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia. I have also pursued studies in the areas of Grant Writing and Project Management.
My interests are trade and development, empowerment and protection of girls and women, poverty alleviation and human rights.
