Tanya Cunningham is a mother of three from Dallas, Texas. Currently she resides in the small town of Princeton, Texas (pop. 5,700), about 30 minutes North of Dallas. There, she lives with her husband of over seventeen years and youngest son.

Tanya Cunningham is also a inger/songwriter who was thrust into the spotlight a few years ago when The Larry King Cardiac Foundation President, Larry King, Jr. invited her to speak at the Gala they have twice a year. Upon meeting all of the associates, they discovered her dream was to sing. They went one step further, when she was asked to come back again for the next years Gala.

Cunningham was invited not only to be a guest, but to sing "God Bless America" at the 2008 Larry King Cardiac Foundation Gala. "It didn't even feel like I was on stage in my own body", she recalls. " I was overwhelmed with gratitude and emotion that I not only survived Thanks to this foundation, but they were making a dream of mine come true". Tanya stated.

Since that event, God is opening doors wide for her to Pay it forward and experience some of the most life changing events. Cunningham is a strong believer that God is in control and he is allowing her dreams to be fulfilled because of obedience. "We are small, but God is big and he is merciful enough to give me a second chance to make it right".

In November 2008, Cunningham was invited to be a part of The Red Dress Campaign photoshoot for Woman's Day Magazine. "I can't believe they chose me and I'm going to be in a magazine". Tanya thought it was a joke at first. Then she quickly realized with flight confirmation and hotel information, that this was not joke.

Cunningham arrived in New York City and was personally styled by Gretta Monahan who is currently working with Tim Gunn on his show. She was fitted for her "Red Dress" and a full makeover was done at The Paul Lebracque Salon and Spa.

The Photo shoot was indeed a success and more importantly, this highlighted The Foundation and three other wonderful woman who had stories to tell.

Cunningham wrote "Sent with Love" after the death of her daughter to SIDS in 2000. Today she is working with the SIDS Foundation, to bring awareness of this silent killer and to be supportive to all those affected by SIDS.
