Play: My husband Wes and I have a small family - two dogs and one cat. We love to travel and prefer to be underwater than on land! I finished 3 triathlons for various charitable organizations last year and plan to compete in at least 5 this year. I have been playing softball for over 25 years and I am a big professional and college sports fan. I cherish my amazing extended family and great friends.

Work: I am very passionate about working in higher education administration and teaching because I truly believe in the value of an education. I returned to college as an adult because I realized it is the best investment you can make in yourself and it is the only thing that can never be taken away from you. I hope to make a difference in the lives of others everyday by helping students to achieve their highest educational goals and finding a career that they will love. As a student myself and an educator, I strongly support the continued integration of technological advancements for learning purposes. I hope that it will provide greater opportunities for those who do not have equal access to education.
