Tanya Riddick
East Coast
I'm an entrepreneur/business coach who specializes in internet marketing, social media, branding and personal development.
I'm also a student who will be applying to med school in a few years. I've had to take several years off of school due to personal reasons.
I work with research and patients that have sickle cell disease and attended the United Nations Event for Sickle Cell Awareness a few years ago.
I'm passionate about my future and what I want to accomplish in the community.
I believe in paying it forward and helping those less fortunate than me. My participation, to name a few, has involved participating in Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross (Disaster Team), as well as being the president of the Spanish Club and Mentor Chair for Student National Medical Association, Leadershape and more.
What's Tanya doing now? Working on developing community projects for the youth (coming soon)
My Favorite Quote:
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.' We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone and as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
