Tanya Seymour takes a multifaceted approach to leadership of the BCG Foundation. Responsible for organizational finances, she manages the foundation's budgets to ensure departmental needs are met while maintaining long-term viability. She also manages all personnel operations for the foundation, maintaining a careful balance between task load and staffing levels. She personally assigns staff to coordinate foundation events, and she coaches them to ensure their effectiveness. On the larger scale, Tanya Seymour develops and maintains policies and procedures that ensure continuing foundation operations.
In addition to leading operational efforts, Tanya Seymour conducts numerous public outreach and awareness campaigns. Effectively placing the organization in a position of high visibility, she ensures that potential supporters know of foundation events and activities. In addition, she and her husband, Richard, donated funds to build a training and weight room at their alma mater, Lower Richland High School.
