Based in Pennsylvania, Tanya Steinberg held a leadership role with International House Philadelphia (IHP) for 16 years. Most recently, as president and CEO, she was responsible for ensuring proper financial, accounting and human resources practices, and boosting the organization’s fundraising profile. During her time with IHP, Tanya Steinberg received the Small Business Community Association Award and earned selection among the Top 25 Female Leaders in Greater Philadelphia Area.

Ms. Steinberg served as accounting manager for the Please Touch Museum in the early 1990s and subsequently spent six years with Women Organized Against Rape as director of finance and administration. Her accomplishments with the latter organization included streamlining procedures and ensuring that budgets were met and compliance issues fulfilled. Her sustained efforts, which included serving as a translator assisting victims and their families in court, earned her Woman of the Year recognition from Women's Way. Prior to joining the IHP, Tanya Steinberg served as a Chief Financial Officer at ActionAids and streamlined processes and procedures of all organizational aspects including the third party billing, which tripled under her leadership.
