/* Me in 10 seconds */
I am at heart an entrepreneur. I've been a startup founder, product designer, programmer, researcher. I'm an avid student of life.
/* A little personal */
I love books. I listen to podcasts like Tim Ferriss Show and This Week in Startups. I share what I learn on Medium and Twitter.
My favorite quote is The first principle is that you must not fool yourself – and you are the easiest person to fool.
My favorite fable is A loss, no bad thing.
/* Pro */
I co-founded SproutUp in late 2014, which helps content creators (e.g. YouTubers) and brands collaborate on making fun videos (like this).
Previously at LivingSocial, I worked with a talented design team to create the LivingSocial Merchant Center, and an internal web app for the sales team.
Earlier, I built data visualization tools and mobile dashboard and analytics at MicroStrategy.
I co-invented AnatOnMe at Microsoft Research. It projects anatomical images onto the body and helps patients “see” their injuries, and encourage them to do their exercises. People wow'ed.
I earned a PhD from Virginia Tech. I wrote papers on VR, 3D UI, and gesture interaction.
