  • Currently I am working as the Digital User Experience Specialist at Purdue University Libraries. I am working on a number of user experience design and research projects focused on the library's website and other web presence. Before joining Purdue I worked as a Research Associate in the Human-Machine Teaming Lab of the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. I worked very closely with software developers and robotics researchers to conduct user experience design and research for developing human-robot interface in emergency response (search and rescue) scenarios.
  • I graduated from North Carolina State University (NCSU) with a PhD degree in Industrial Engineering specialized in Human Factors in August, 2009. I received my Masters (specialized in Human-Computer Interaction) in July, 2006 and Bachelors degree in July, 2004, both in Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University (one of the best universities in China), Beijing, China.
