Using a cassette tape recorder and the music flowing in his veins, TapeRecorder traded his nomadic lifestyle in Southern California for the bright lights of New York City. This couch-surfing rooftop-hopper composes masterpieces ranging from glitchy poppy tunes to sonic instrumentals to acoustic folk. A mix between Thom Yorke and Elliot Smith.

Drawing influence from circumstances and location, TapeRecorder interprets a world revealed through each lyric. His music has been featured in many independent films and he can be found playing the road and collaborating with other artists.
