Emilie Tappolet

Swiss Designer / artist, Emilie Tappolet has graduated from the Master Media Design - HEAD in Geneva in 2012. She is currently working as a teaching assistant in the " visual communication " section of the same school. Co-founder of apelab, her research focuses on playful scenarios pushing the boundaries between the virtual and the physical world . She is interested in theoretical and practical research. Having studied film, animation graphic design, she continues to study these fields by imagining new types of interactive mobile stories using new technologies ( motion sensors , smartphones, tablets). Interested in research by design, she creates numerous prototypes of interactive experimentation which can then be produced through the apelab label.

Her installations have been featured in several exhibitions such as the Gamelounge at the House of Switzerland for the 2012 Olympic Games , the exhibition at the Museum of Touch and MUDAC in Lausanne, the Playtime exhibition at the Maison d'Ailleurs, the Swissnex exhibition at GDC in San Francisco, and other digital arts festivals . We presented our future prototypes and projects at the Tokyo Game Show and the gamescom .
