I am.....
a person who believes we all have the ability to learn and position ourselves for success. Listening to our positive thoughts, ignoring the negative, and following our hearts will never steer us wrong. I apply these same concepts when working with my clients, talking to friends and families, and my own personal relationships. I have always been a hard worker that loves to help others discover who they are, what they truly value, and the steps needed to accompllish their goals.
Work & Education
I have worked in the behavioral health field since 2009 and have learned a lot about life, fun, and patience. Upon earning a B.A from Temple University of Philadelphia, I began working as a Therapeutic Staff Support to teachers and families raising a child with autism. As I continued my experience, I realized that this was my calling but the systems in place to support children and families with autism have not been of high quality. I decided to go back to school and get a M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis so I could better prepare myself for a career of assessing behaviors, creating behavior plans, and helping families to create the long-term change they so desire. I am planning to sit for the Behavior Analyst Certification Board exam in the next 6 months and am so excited to provide quality care and planning to families and children in need.
Goals
I want to help people to understand the power that they hold and the ability they have to change their circumstances. Everyone has the potential to change anothers life and we must all learn to work together, hold ourselves accoutable, and be sincere in our efforts in order to make real progress. Being passionate about life, love, and learning is the thing that keeps me going and my goal is to spread the passion to others.
