Tara Giuliano

Tara was appointed into a Director level role at Nationwide Insurance in her mid-20's- one of the youngest Directors ever appointed to the company at the time. By 26, she worked as the Head of Americas Marketing & Communication for Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty. Tara Giuliano served as President at Chicago American Marketing Association from 2013-14 while also leading Asset Management Marketing Services at Morningstar. Currently, Tara works as Chief Marketing Officer for Sikich, a top 35 Accounting Firm, Investment Bank & Professional Services firm.

Tara has spent years mentoring and sharing career tips with dozens of marketers and young women due to her success at such a young age, and in 2008 published her advice in a self-help book. Since 2010, Tara has provided pro-bono marketing and communications consulting for Chicago nonprofits and start-ups in her “spare” time. Projects have included start-ups Kinzie Real Estate Group and Pressed Garments, and nonprofit Access Living.

Tara has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from The Ohio State University and a Master’s degree in Communications from DePaul University. She also serves as a programming committee member for the Professional Women’s Club of Chicago where she helps to bring the best and brightest women leaders to speak to the club. Tara is married and has a one year old daughter. She lives in Lincoln Park with her family.
