Tara Dettman

Tara Alyse Dettman is a student at Full Sail University and currently lives in Kawasaki, Japan. Tara is no stranger to the entertainment and music industries, having spent a year interning at Andy Gould Management and The Firm artist management companies in Hollywood, CA gaining knowledge of artist management and experience which taught her the importance of being organized and having a good relationship with your artists. She also worked for Loudside/ Total Assault for 2 years organizing and implementing online and street teams to promote major label artists like Crazy Town, Godhead, Orgy, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Snot, Static-X, and more. Prior to starting her career in the music industry she interned for Invisible Records in Chicago, Il which is owned by Martin Atkins which made her even more passionate about learning more about the music industry. She spent a year organizing and sending out press kits to various music markets all over the United States to promote the current up coming new releases. She also did street team promotions for Geffen, Interscope, Roadrunner and TVT Records. Tara’s varied background in music business; living in Japan and the experience that she gained from her internships and past work provided the perfect foundation for her to start to create a footprint in Japan and to work her way into the Japan music industry. She is also working her way back into the U.S. music industry as well. She believes it is important to have a foundation in the largest (U.S.A) and the second largest (Japan) music selling countries. She is ready to rock them all.
