Tom Taraci
Tom has had a long and varied career in sales and marketing which prepared him for the task of running TJT Motivation. After an achieving his B.B.A. from C.C.N.Y. (at the time known as the Harvard of the Proletariat), Tom attended the graduate school for marketing at St. John’s University. Tom worked in sales for National Presto Industries and Dow Chemical, before going to National Distillers as Sales Promotion Manager and eventually Marketing Director. From there Tom was hired by Ross Johnson, Chairman of Nabisco Brands as Director of Corporate Promotion, where his duties included management of special Events. This included responsibility for the Dinah Shore Golf Tournament the largest L.P.G.A. event and Team Nabisco a celebrity athlete department that was used to promote and support the brands. In 1982, Tom left Nabisco to start TJT Limited, a premium, promotion and special events company that eventually morphed into TJT Motivation, focusing primarily on incentive marketing programs. Tom designed what is believed to be the first online recognition program for Merrill Lynch in 1995.
