Tara was born in Hamilton, Ontario where she completed her Kinesiology degree and Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University. She made the move to Vancouver shortly after graduating where she started her career on the North Shore. She is currenly the head therapist with the Canadian National Cycling team, and is the Director of Physiotherapy at Catalyst Kinetics Group in Burnaby.
