Hello! My name is Tara and I have been working in the field of education for the last twenty years. I started out as a science teacher and have been a school counselor for the past seven years. I love my job. I am fortunate to work in a small alternate school with 50 youth struggling with severe mental health challenges. I am the parent to three beautiful children (a 14-year old boy and twins who are almost 12). In my free time, I love being outdoors and try to spend as much as time as possible in the mountains. Knitting, reading and traveling are some of my other interests. I am really looking forward to this course and getting to know all of you!
