FAT TO FIT TO FAT TO FIT
Hey guys my name is Tara, and I wanted to briefly share with you my story in hopes of you being inspired to become the best version of yourself! Some may formally know me as @bosswomenfitness on social media. Growing up I mainly played soccer at competitive levels and developed a love for fitness at a young age.
Although I was highly active playing soccer all the time, I was always on the curvier or thicker side of things and growing up it caused me to think differently about myself. Fast forward to 20yrs old (which is 5 years ago) I started working at a gym, bought personal training, and started my weight loss journey. Within 6 months I had lost 35 lbs. Although I was loving the tiny life, I was unhappy with how flat my body was. I was small yes, and i loved it, but I wanted my thickness and curves back, just a fitter version from before.
I started to lift weights more significantly, but I didn’t understand my body’s relationship to food, so I ate a little more here and there, and I thought because I was trying to put on muscular size it was okay. Now generally speaking, to eat more while putting on size is okay, but you have to know WHAT to eat, and more importantly how your body responds to it. Slowly I started to gain weight back after the two year mark of keeping it off. Looking for solutions to get my eating game back on a schedule, I was introduced to a company that I work with now.
Within my first month, I came down 14lbs and 11 inches. I LOVE to help, I feel it’s my purpose in life. That’s why I choose to help others reach their fullest potential physically and mentally through coaching.
