Greetings fellow professionals, my name is Tara. I’m a teacher living and working in the Thousand Islands area in Ontario, Canada. I enjoy people, photography, music, and travel. I have taught for over 15 years in two different school boards in Ontario, as well as, overseas in South Korea and China. I am interested in being part of an online community of educators who are interested in sharing ideas and collaborating. I am currently taking the Intermediate - English ABQ course to add to my skills as a teacher, especially how Literature relates to today's world, and how to help students see how valuable Literacy skills are when presenting themselves in various situations throughout their lives. I am also very interesting in learning more about technology that can help students learn, and eventually earn, in our forever changing and fast paced world.
