Tara Parker

Los Angeles, CA

Oft described as a whimsical fairy-elf and wild Princess Merida, Tara knew from an early age she would weild her artistic talents to inspire and entertain.

Now she has performed on both coasts with credits ranging from Theater and Musical Theater to Film and TV. Tara recently premiered on the show "Divine Intervention" performing a reenactment! Singing also has always given Tara great inspiration. Studying in chorus for four years, her clear, soprano voice has made its way into lead roles in musicals such as “Little Women” and “Into the Woods”, and recently she sang as backup for the band, “Burn”. Her voice proves diverse as well: while excelling in the operatic, musical theater style in the higher register, her friends remark on her ability to bring rich and soulful vulnerability in the lower mezzo range.

Miss Parker currently trains weekly at The Casting Director, reads a ton of books, and even entertains her family on occasion. Recently it is through her green veggie smoothie endeavors: While attempting to share her smoothie creations with loved ones, they respond with fear and repulsion. Her gramma claims, "It tastes like grass!" She then calms them by reminding that she used to eat grass when she was little.
